Vacation Acres is a very unique property located in the heart of Poe Valley. Only a 30 minute drive to State College, but 15 of those minutes are down a state maintained gravel road. Poe Valley is situated right in the middle of thousands of acres of state forests. Once you are here, you are about 1 mile from Poe Valley State Park which offers a very nice ____ acre lake that is perfect for your kayaks or canoe. It is stocked each spring with thousands of trout, and also has warm water species to target in the summer. If fly fishing is your thing, you are about 6 miles from some of the best fly fishing on the east coast. Drive 6 miles from Vacation Acres and you are right on a very desireable stretch of Penns Creek at Poe Paddy State Park.

Our cabins have full kitchens with running water, but do not have individual bathrooms. The 3 cabins share a very nice bathhouse that is always clean and very well maintained. It is centrally located between the 3 cabins so not too far away from any of them.

There is a page for each activity that can be enjoyed in Poe Valley. Our cabins book very quickly as Poe Valley has plenty to offer from April through November. December through March is prime snowmobile time, but due to lack of winter road maintenance we have decided not offer rentals during those months. (this may change someday if there is enough interest)
